I'm waiting for FianceHC to come back in, she has done 2 hrs at work; so I can go out - pub quiz tonight. She is staying in to watch MiniHC.

He has been great for me today - and will be off to bed soon in any case.

No doubt FianceHC will get the house tidied, washing done, and washing up done and away while I am out.

Question for the floor: if a user is banned from these here forums, can they still log on i.e. does a ban just prohibit said user from posting?

You can log in, but can't do anything - you get a message saying you are banned. So can't even make changes to your profile / signature etc.

Whether that's the same for a permanent ban rather than a temporary ban, I can't say.
