I've been using Charles, the HTTP debugging proxy for about three years now; I even gave a presentation about it at BarCampLondon 4. Yet now and again a really neat feature that I either didn't know about, or had forgotten, will pop up to surprise me

Today, I went to have a look at some data from a site I worked on a while ago - it's a JSON file fetched via Ajax.

Upon examining the HTTP response in Charles, it had parsed the JSON and presented it in a really nice UI as an expandable tree

I knew that, in addition to viewing responses as raw text and hex dumps, it also offered useful UIs for images and XML, but I'd totally forgotten about the JSON parser.

          Charles FTW!

Well, that's another 2 CVs sent off.

Shame it's for the same job

                      How naive!

(I don't even know what JSON is - hadn't even heard of it before reading that post)
