    Yes.

And more likely the walk back down again.

In a mere 7 months on the train I appear to have knackered my knees well & truly.

Apart from the hill, it's an ideal & reasonably stress free method of getting here.

    Infinitely better than driving.

Sadly, it looks as if I'll have to go back to driving again.

Or I could go on the sick.

Maybe it just needs some gentle exercise, like kicking a few students?
I prefer not to think of what that would feel like at the moment

        Of course we have thumbs.

Have you never heard of convergent evolution?

Get it checked out Zeity. Although I should probably get mine seen to as well - still getting the occasional twinge when walking up stairs (and since the loft conversion we do have a lot of stairs).
Where are we going? And what’s with this hand basket?

I had two bowls of lentil soup (it doesn't half make you fart), followed by steamed pudding & custard, followed (for no good reason other than greed) by a Tesco pork pie.

One should not need a reason to eat pork pie. The mere presence of pork pie is justification enough

I had lamb's liver and onions on Wednesday... Mmmmmmmmmmm...

                  No fava beans though.

                  Or chianti.

Thank you kind sir... I can vaguely remember being clever, but it was a long time ago now... where did that brain go, I wonder?

Atrophied due to lack of use I suppose.
