Just got back from the 9-10 Adult Session (Always grin when they call it that). Quite pleased. 70 lengths in under 45 minutes and still alive.
Perhaps Christmas didn't take it's toll (pun from my name intended ) as much as I thought.

This incorrigible pile of crap that calls itself an HDD recorder seems to have improved in one respect.
Rather than crashing half-way through a recording, to the extent of requiring a plug-out-wait-ten-seconds-plug-in reset, it's merely thrown away the two recordings it was supposed to make (the first of which was already recording when I went out) and left itself switched on
This can, I suppose, be seen as a minor improvement over its regular habit of crashing and displaying a debug message over the picture in red single-width font down the left third of the screen, referring to the .c file and, specifically, the line in the disk sector allocation routine in which it crashed.
An improvement of sorts, but still not what I wantedComment

In other news, I've got 10 points for "Best answer" to a question on Mahalo Answers
Shame it wasn't a paying question, but it's a start, I suppose
Actually, I think I'll award myself a banananana for that:
It'll make up for being unable to watch the stuff I thought I was recordingComment
