Well, I'm not sure what happened, but for the moment my dodgy tooth seems to have sorted itself out
The problem will probably recur, but at least it takes it off the urgent list
Of course, as always with life, what seems to be a blessing turns out to be a curse of sorts
It appears that, in one of their recent restructurings of NHS dental charges, HMG determined that when one needed urgent treatment, one would only be liable for the lowest charge - less than twenty quid - for all treatment necessary to deal with the problem. "WIN!" thought I, when I was in need of urgent treatment.
Now that I am no longer in need of urgent treatment, I'll be landed with the higher charge of around fifty quid for the necessary filling to stop the problem arising again
I tell you, having an effective immune system that can eradicate an incipient dental abscess is costing me a fortune
