Nobody seems to have responded to my quotation from Tacitus' Annals over on the latest "country going to the dogs" thread in General.
It seems to me that the OP parked inconsiderately - on double yellows - and somebody told him off for it. As the person telling him off happened to be black, he escalates this in his mind to a "Yardy" attacking him and his family
The black guy is probably a Chartered Accountant who's fed up with people stopping on the double yellows outside his home and creating the risk of an accident. But oh no, he's black, he must be a gangsta
Thank goodness we don't have to put up with stupidity like that in TPD, the happy threadComment

Well, Tacitus wasn't enough for me - I had to go and say my little piece
I think I was right though. Putting your baby at risk to save walking a few hundred yards is foolish at best (which is my nice term for "criminally irresponsible").
Now playing the DVD of The Concert for Bangladesh again.
Of course, if I was using Twitter, I could probably get my DVD player to tell you that automatically rather than me having to type itComment
