Thanks all - I kind of knew it was coming, so I'm really quite happy about it, to be honest. We've gone from having a team of about 15 contractors working well together to there being a team of five working with the permies (from a "consultancy").

I'm looking forward to having some (more) time at home - school play on Monday morning, and then look for work in January.

That said, I've just spoken to an agent about a "retained contract" for 12 months or more, which would be good - chance to sit and do nothing and get paid for it

Roll on tomorrow afternoon when I walk out the door, leaving them with nasty things hitting the fan and a BIG grin on my face

Thanks - nothing could make me feel better today, though.

Because I'm feeling GREAT!!! Someone else now has to deal with all the carp I've had to put up with for the past year
