Yup, they've taken their time, but it looks like things are moving at last. About time - they supposedly wanted to start next Monday
Sounds as if it might be a pretty interesting project, incorporating stuff to do with serving data feeds consumed by remote systems, rather than just boring old web pages for humans

I know a few people who publish a lot of stuff - I keep meaning to get around to it myself. Chris Heilmann was offering his .net magazine web Q&A column around Y! to anybody who wanted to take it over about a year ago, but I didn't bother getting back to him as I didn't really have the time, working in London.Comment
