It is totally, utterly, bastard cold out there <- grey-blue with cold
I almost died of hypothermia about ten years ago. Cold is just an aspect of the Universe, but for us soft warm beings it can be an evil thing.
I've probably gone over this on TPD before...
There's this but other than that it seems I haven't. Then again, it's not something I'm proud of - falling into the river when drunk isn't exactly a major achievement
They did a good job of warming me back up at the Royal Infirmary though. It took several hours, but they did it, and even took me home in an ambulance
In fact, if you're totally fscked and only medical treatment can save you, I'd recommend them every timeComment
