I've had two days of doing almost nothing this week, but today is a bit better. Taking each day as it comes - when I get five good days in a row, then I'll go back to work. Not a second before.

Next week is week five of illness though.

I don't think I can do a Christmas speech this year, as I've missed too much. Last year, I don't think I missed anything that went on, even when I was *ahem* "away for a week".

I think that Nick is best poised for it - if he can find a break in between watching soap operas as he did last Christmas

                Hi Scourer

                Fine thanks - and yourself?

It was a drive down to Sainsbury's - it's the only time the car gets to have a run around at the moment

This presupposes that I actually remember anything

You can spend the first hour of Coronation Street researching what to write about.

Then the next hour of Eastenders thinking about the comedy / emotional aspects of a Xmas speech.

Then the next hour of Emerdale trying not to commit suicide.

Then type it during the next Coronation Street episode.

And post it before getting drunk during the Eastenders special...
