            It must be admitted it was a bit slow on the 32 x 6 sorts it used to do on an Amstrad 1512 way back in 1987 for a semiconductor test equipment code generator... all written in FORTRAN 77...

            It didn't really matter how slow it was, since it was still quicker than the operator could type...

            The last sort I used (apart from the dos command line version) was qsort in C.

            And I can no longer remember what it was that I sorted with it.
