The doorbell just went - when I pootled down to the front door, it was the chap from the electricity who's been leaving notices threatening one of the other flats with disconnection for the last week or two
I thought he might be going to brush me aside and rush in to disconnect it straight away (the meters are in the hall cupboard), but luckily I was able to fob him off by being unable to confirm the name of the person living in said flat, and giving him the agent's address instead.
I wish the chap would just pay his bill, so I don't have to handle these people.
I further wish that they wouldn't ring the bell for the wrong flat - I assume they can read Arabic numerals
