Hello
Have you ever had one of those moments when you're down the pub, gazing out of the window, letting your mind wander... and suddenly something someone said twenty years ago pops into your mind, and slots together like a jigsaw piece with a more current issue that you weren't even thinking about, thereby allowing you to gain a deeper perspective on said current issue?
I had a really interesting moment like that tonight
I even went so far as to get my notebook out and scribble the essence of the realisation down - not something I always do.
It's not an earth-shattering revelation, but it gave me a deeper, better understanding of the issue, which can't be bad.
It's also useful as a profound kick in the balls for those who spout nonsense about said issue - I may lurk in General occasionally, waiting for the sheep to come to the slaughterComment
