Afternoon NF

Nearly, but not quite, WHS - I'm still rather fuzzy in the cerebral cortex, but not actually suffering

I'm probably not too bad either if I'm honest - I thought I'd be a lot worse today, although I stuck to the same beer (Timothy Taylor Landlord) all night which may have helped in some way. And the Chicken Pakora @ 1.00am was very welcome.

Screeching followed by a loud thump from outside as somebody failed to notice that the van in front of them had stopped at the pedestrian crossing

They've both moved up to a position where they aren't blocking the road, and there were no smashing sounds, so I don't think it was any more than a bump

Crivens - another crash!

Having just popped out to the shop, I noticed that the lights aren't working on the crossing. Unfortunately, people are still using it to cross, so I anticipate that the more dimwitted drivers of this fair city will continue to pile into each other on a regular basis until the lights are fixed

I've lived in Redditch for around 30 years,

Evening all, just passing through (on way to the pub!).... Redditch... I made Birimgham Radar Air Traffic Control laugh today about Redditch. I was flying back from Liverpool to Wellesbourne and was asked to tell them when I was passing Redditch.

When I got there I duly reported "Helicopter G-SC, abeam The Red Ditch." The bloke was chuckling on the other end - he had obviously never heard that before!!

Anyway, stay safe peeps - probably not about tomorrow as it is LittleMe's birthday party and pub quiz in evening. See you all on Monday!
