Yeah, maybe. But I have just been asked to come in to work an hour early next week because my supposed "team leader" (I am a contractor, thus no such thing exists - I only humour this title to keep BigBoss happy in order to ensure renewal) hasn't got the balls to tell a colleague to come in at the time he is supposed to.

Now, it is only 1 hour; but because of the way the trains work out I will have to be up 1.5 hours early. All because two other people can't do their respective jobs properly.

How annoying!

Does that mean you have to work an extra hour (in which case bill them for it *2) or do you get to go home 1 hour early?

Did you ask why this change is happening and ask them to justify it?

I know that you've sometimes got to make adjustments to "fit in"(and ensure renewal etc) ...but if it's going to make your stay at this place less palatable then why don't you tell him to stuff it....?
