Greetings, Salutations and Felicitations - this is the deep, dark hours of the night shift shambling about, feeling mildly confused as it seeks to correlate one thing with another

I may just watch Babylon 5 instead... reading an in-depth analysis of the history of "Wall Street" in the years leading up to the 1929 Crash is certainly entertaining, but perhaps not what one should sleep on

Most informative, though... it drives home what a bunch of drivelling self-centred short-sighted self-obsessed malinformed dimwits those peasants in General really are

They think they're being clever when they say "It'll be different this time" in the spirit of post-modernist irony. It never seems to occur to them that it will, but not in the way they anticipated.

I predict fail... epic fail. I'm glad I have nothing to lose - which reminds me, I must pay off the hundred quid or so I've run up on the credit card.

Neither doomed nor boomed - it's always the same, given time.

Why is debt called credit these days?

    Ho hum

            Yup.

I read Galbraith's book on the Great Depression a couple of months ago... the similarities were striking... I didn't realise that Bab 5 did an analysis of the bubble of 1929... must have missed that episode.

Wifeys new washing machine will be here in about 20 min's.

She blew the control panel on the Dyson Contrarotator.

Don't know what she's ordered but I hope it isn't as big and heavy as the Dyson.
