Personally I'm only interested in the technicalities - I haven't the slightest interest in marketing, so I'd go for the heavily-technical one.
However, remember that I have no design skills whatsoever, so I'm not really qualified to judge how attractive that might be.
Try suggesting that they pro-actively leverage the core vocabulary components of their common linguistic paradigm to synergise the actuation of inter-functional communication. By the time they've worked out that it means "Talk in English, not management-speak, dammit" it'll be time to go home
