Evening denizens

It rained on the way to Sainsburys. Walking across the car park through the drizzle, with a bit of a chilly breeze striking up, it occurred to me that a nice stew was just the thing for such weather, and so I made my purchases accordingly.

Leaving the store, I discovered that during that lost fifteen minutes or so it had suddenly turned into a lovely summer evening, with a refreshing breeze keeping off the worst of the heat.

So I'm having stew to keep me warm, despite the fact that I'm too warm anyway.
