A battered savaloy and a pickled egg, please.

If they don't put me tight, nothing will.

Mind you, the pink champagne I had earlier made me feel a lot better.
My all-time favourite Dilbert cartoon, this is: BTW, a Dumpster is a brand of skip, I think.

That is uncommonly late in the day for one of those visits. They normally turn up nearer 5 or 6 a.m.

I was on the receiving end of one of those many years ago at about 6 a.m. on a Sunday when I was in lodgings. They were after the previous occupant regarding arson.

Said previous occupant turned up a couple of days later to collect his post; I said what had happened.

He explained the landlord in his previous place had decided to do an insurance job and torched the building ... with this bloke still inside asleep on the 3rd floor.

It seems the landlord had decided to blame the tenant...

Somebody was lying and either way it sounded messy.

          Gales up north tomorrow

Better steer clear of the Thelwall Viaduct, Bazza - you don't want the truck tipping over

<makes mental note to actually go for eye test, rather than just talking about it on TPD >
I must go for an eye test too... I noticed whilst waiting for my dad to be assessed after his cataract op that I have a rather curious 2nd image slightly above the main one.

The Taunton weather is much the same as you are getting.
