          Bye Zeity
Eeyore was very glad to be able to stop thinking for a little, in order to say "How do you do" in a gloomy manner to Pooh.
"And how are you?" said Winnie-the-Pooh.
Eeyore shook his head from side to side. "Not very how," he said. "I don't seem to felt at all how for a long time."

            Hi All

Nick - have you got a link or instructions for freeing up sash windows that you mentioned in another post. I read it on my phone this morning and was going to reply then but got sidetracked.

              Hi

              Try:

              http://www.oldhousejournal.com/magaz...-windows.shtml

              http://home.howstuffworks.com/how-to-repair-windows.htm

              and this very useful video:

              http://www.thisoldhouse.com/toh/vide...053941,00.html

              HTH

(BTW all those come from the Google search http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=en...e+Search&meta= - lots more results to explore, but those three might well be all you need.)

Thanks Nick - some useful stuff there.

I've about 5 stuck windows and have been that way since I moved into the house some years ago. The jobs finally moved nearer the top of the list.

Let me know if any of the advice in there proves to be catastrophically wrong
