Eeyore was very glad to be able to stop thinking for a little, in order to say "How do you do" in a gloomy manner to Pooh.
"And how are you?" said Winnie-the-Pooh.
Eeyore shook his head from side to side. "Not very how," he said. "I don't seem to felt at all how for a long time." -

I acquired Borland C++ V4.52 off the front cover of a magazine.
It was £5.
I paid about £5 for the documentation off ebay some years later...Comment

I do hope you find a way of relieving the tedium here - we pride ourselves on giving a warm welcome to everyone(unlike general where most get a good shoeing!).
6 weeks sounds a long time! Any chance of renewal? Can you afford to take time off? What is the market like in your sector?
I probably shouldn't take time out in the current market and take the (likely) renewal but I just fancy a change.
Market seems pretty good, floated my CV a few weeks ago just for interest and had a steady stream of agencies calling, different roles too - I was doing my best snotty bitch impression with "how much... oh sorry thats a bit lower than my usual rate"
