My dinner turned out very nicely, although not quite as nice as it was when made with the eighteen quid bottle of wine
I really should remember to start cooking it earlier though, given that it has to simmer for at least three hours.
Anyway, time for the pub - see you later, denizensComment

Time to watch Have I Got Some Additional News for You (or whatever it's called).
Of course, if one likes that show, one really ought also to be listening to its progenitor, The News Quiz on Radio 4
The newspaper clippings read out between each round, and by the panelists at the end, tend to be particularly good - especially when Charlotte Green loses it halfway through one and dissolves into laughter
(She's been voted the sexiest voice on radio several times, IIRC - not bad for a Radio 4 newsreader.)
My favourite of all time was back in the early Nineties:
A violent scuffle developed, during which PC Wilkinson was punched in the face, and his testicles were grabbed and squeezed.
Sentencing Harris to fourteen days, the magistrate said: "Whatever the provocation, you should have not taken the law into your own hands."

I have often said on here that my posts are true. I have also said I am a habitual lier. I suspect everyone else is the same - even CM!Comment
