You watch The Dark Knight and try to figure why the heck the Joker is alive since he was killed in the first film ..... and then you read in the newspaper that the Dark Knight is a new incarnation of Batman movies having nothing to do with the ones you watched 20 years ago.

you know you're getting old when you realise that a film you thought of as being relatively recent is now almost 20 years old!
