• Bremen is a really nice city.
• Most German sausages are Gluten free.
• German's dont queue, they barge.
• Germans eat big lunches.
• There is very little litter in Germany ( or at least in Bremen )
• Even late at night in the absence of traffic pedestrians in Bremen will wait untill the lights change before crossing the road.
• German motorways are awfull.
• German drivers are generally better behaved than most.
• Venlo service station is actually a minor outpost of Hell.
• Northwestern Europe is really really boring to drive through.

I spent some time in Munich a few years ago. Hmmm, the ghost of the Third Reich hasn't quite been laid to rest, just yet, methinks.
