Have to admit though.... not in the slightest bit bothered

I'm looking forward to working my way back up, probably by posting links to all my "lunch from Fuzzy's" posts in TPD over here in General

Maybe the fact that you're posting about posting proves my point? Although this thread was obviously started at a higher level

What about the fact that you're posting about me posting about posting?

The fact that they've posted a lot in B&C or General adds no information of any value.
That would be a good idea - not sure how technically feasible it is though. IIRC, it's reasonably straightforward to determine whether a sub-board counts towards post count, but what you suggest is more complex than that.

Might be worth checking that out, though?

I believe vBulletin is written in PHP with the usual database backend (probably mySQL or Postgres) so it's probably just a case of adding a couple of queries and a few lines of PHP. On the other hand, it may not be advisable to modify the app as it could break on an upgrade, or even a maintenance release, but perhaps such a feature is available as a configuration option.

I'll go and read the docs...

Indeed... with the villagers coming up the hill with their flaming torches and pitchforks, it would be nice to have a backup
