Shut up you...Originally posted by Ardesco View PostI think the solutions is make any posts in TPD not count towards your post count.
This will make it pointless for a great many people.

Who are also full of their own self importance......Originally posted by NickFitz View PostI, and I think the vast majority of the TPDenizens, regard the post count thing as more a bit of fun than anything - there may be people who take it seriously, but that's just sad IMHO.
I contribute elsewhere on the board when I have something useful to offer, or occasionally in General when I feel like joining in the ridiculous posturing that goes on here. The majority of my posts are in TPD not because I'm desperate to have a high post count, but because it's a nice place to chat with a pleasant group of people, as opposed to the bunch of rabble-rousing egotists usually found in General (and no, I'm not talking about you snaw, as I know you're not one of the time-wasting dorks who make so much irrelevant noise in here).

Don't forget you're in General. If you're going to count, make it offensive. Different forum, different rules.Originally posted by BrilloPad View PostSo can we count on this thread? It will increase my post count no end...Drivelling in TPD is not a mental health issue. We're just community blogging, that's all.
