Is that down Harrow way? I've been in there.

I've also been in the Speed The Plough in Barton, but I'm not sure it's there anymore.

        How could I forget?
The 'Pipe and Gannex' Public House, Sugar Lane, Knowsley.
        (remember Harold Wilson?).

Clientele a bit rough, that's how I forgot....

The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

I've heard of The Cock, Welwyn, but I've never bothered to check whether it really exists. There used to be one in Welwyn called The Clock, next to the A1.

I never remember the names of pubs. I never remember getting home afterwards either.
