it was not a post about Jordan's baby! It was a post about the continuing cult of celebrity silly names....she called it Starbuck Moonfruit or summat.

i should have posted it in LR tho.
I wasn't criticizing the topic of naming your baby Princess Aiimmmeeee or whatever it's called, it was just that if there was a board of "General Chat" rather than a "General" board, it would quite happily fit into a chat section, rather than a section which is meant to be of general interest to contractors.

Sad as I am, I was interested in the name, since the brat was spawned some weeks ago and they reckon that they only came up with the name now - when they are in OK magazine.

My point would also apply to the Harry Potter threads, Dr. Who threads etc. that sometimes end up in General.

I think it was the being nasty thread that pushed it over the limit.

Wish I'd opened the other threads before they were deleted, though!

Agreed - and it didn't have the tone of somebody who wanted to be welcomed back, so we may not see him again in a recognisable form.

Ah he wasn't nasty - just a bit grumpy at being told off. His ego was just a bit bruised thats all....either that or he was having a laugh.

He's not a bad lad - he just went a bit too far yesterday with his thread titles, and a bit too graphic on the sex talk. That's always going to get you banned, and always should.

Well I dont....but if I used that logic I wouldn't waste my time talking to anyone on here!

there are/were *many* on here who gave good, intelligent and as often as not, funny contributions without plumbing the depths of garbage that recent posters appear to inhabit.

I think SA is right, he just got a bit over excited yesterday and some of us (me included) didn't help the situation but I don't think he was that terrible - ther have been worse posters on here, who have been banned for pretty good reasons too.

Oh no - you're a thread snob too

I feel so stupid - I never saw it coming
