MBS is working with porn operators

    Hey guys!
I see you guys are suffering from this stupid MBS tulips.
They claim they are not malicious according to their website.

I've tested their files, they are indeed malicious, get rid off their files and runkeys.

They work for many various porn site operators, once you install some free porn games or toolbars, they automatically installs this MBS thingy.

Then once their trial period is over, they start to bombard with popups to pay up to continue with their porn account.

If you don't, then they screw your computer with 100% CPU usage without damaging your Windows (PC). Like saying don't pay, then get F U CK. Hence this file is malicious, also they tries to collects their browsing habits in order to target with porn goodies to attract users.

Most AV vendors are now re-listing them as malicious. It seems only Symantec & McAfee are few AV vendors that don't list them any more, I guess they got some deal out of MBS, perhap free access to their porn operators bad stuffs in exchange for de-listing MBS.

It's got a customer services number, but I don't want to be charged £10 per minute probably, so I haven't rung it.

Question is, how do I get rid of it? I don't really want the kids or my missus seeing it, they might think it's genuine.

You don't have to pay its a scam. You'd be suprised how many people will have your e-mail address, none of ur mates ever forwarded you an e-mail with "send this on for a free ipod etc"?

Find a good anti-spyware software, i use Ad-Aware, though there may be others that work as well.

Oh and read this thread FFS!

You don't have to register or subscribe, the porn websites have underhand ways of installing things on your PC, via an advert attached to a completely unrelated email in my case. For MBS to say they are legit is a joke, as their customers are the sort of companies who wouldn't know morals if they jumped up and bit them on the bum.

Are you sure they have your email address? Are they sending you emails?

The link below has some instructions you can follow, if you're reasonably PC-literate. I've got a mainframe background, and I managed to do it!

                    Link

I've also downloaded Adaware and SpyBot to detect anything else I might have - there were a surprising number of things found. Good luck.
