HMRC tax demand received for 2009 / 2010

Hi,
Yesterday I received a tax demand from HMRC for 2009 / 2010.
I was with White Collar from November 2009 to September 2010.
Can someone please give PM rights and access to the group, and can I also have Patrick's telephone number.

Hi All,

Like Sillyman, I received the precious brown envelope yesterday related to 2009/2010 tax year for my engagement in the scheme offered by White Collar.

Can I please also be granted the PM access (sorry for the amateur-ish question, but I guess there'll be more updates on this issue on another thread accessible only for those with this access)? Want to check if anyone's paid the requested additional tax or if everyone's made an appeal?

Hi all,

I am in that same boat, got the dreaded 08/09 letter, but lost 14 days due to snail mail to Australia.

Does any one have a copy of the WC letter so I can meet the 30 days Appeal time line?

I also need a phone number for White Collar that works!

Any and all help will be much appreciated.

Hi AthomeinOz, how did HMRC track you down in Australia? Did you give them your address before you left (on a P85 form maybe) or did they find you by some cleverer means?

New Budget

Hi - Please can I have PM rights?

I was with WC for a couple of years and have received the 2008/9 and 2009/10 letters from HMRC, and appealed as per WC instructions. I have found the advice and discussions with them over the last year very useful.

Reading an article from Contractor UK this week (How Budget 2014 impacts contractors :: Contractor UK). This has me worried as it says even with accepted appealrs, HMRC can now demand the disputed amounts upfront.

Anyone with thoughts/insight into this?

Following your many threads re the "little brown envelopes" from Hector, I too have had the privilege of receiving a missive regarding my 2009/10 tax year and a challenge over an arrangement / employment via Invicta.
