    Settlement figures

Is it on the likely lines or any surprises? How much time has been provided to settle it completely? And when does the first instalment go out?

Some of us still have not received any settlement figures. Noticed a search on my LinkedIn account by HMRC. Anybody else experienced similar?

Been told a plan is only allowed when paying full liability. Which according to them is all years I registered a non prejudice interest in! I want to settle 2/5 years and pay some up front and some TPP. So much for them allowing support. Also asking for full assets, so I expect they want me to sell house

You CANNOT be forced to sell a house you and your dependents live in.

              10 years at 3.25% interest.
You think HMRC are being generous?

I would suspect this is what causes most sleepless nights for people on here (myself included). Webberg, you say they can't force a sale...is this something specific to tax debt? I know HMRC made vague mention in the recent FT article of not forcing house sales, but we all know we can't rely on anything they say. Surely if they look to bankrupt you, then any asset is on the table for them?

Go and ask an insolvency specialist.

                    Hi

First post today so I got my tax bill 98k in loans 38k tax bill and 3k interest from tax years 13 to 16.
I was a contractor thru AML 2013 to 2015 and smartpay 2015/16 I cannot pay it up front even over 10 years it’s going to be difficult as I don’t earn that type of money any more.
Just want to know is there someone who can check this as it seems a lot of money.
If you take the AML tax 14/15 income on which tax due £53000 they want £19000 is this even in the Park.

I intend to, but obviously I was interested to know on what basis you made your statement? If you could elaborate a bit, that'd be much appreciated.
