        Hi thanks for reply. I have spoken to several IPs and also Rhys at WTT who has been great. BR for us would mean no career and huge drop in salary so it’s really an absolute last option.

          There is help and advice from many ex-AML people at LCAG https://www.hmrcloancharge.info/ and Big Group.

          AML are like all ex-scheme providers, liars and deceitful, this opinion comes from being one of their victims.

          Mobilise and get fighting back. Get on twitter, get onto your MP, fight back and do something...plenty of help is out there on how...you will feel not alone and informed with LCAG.

            agree, everyone needs to fight!! I have registered for settlement but only because I don't want my position to be worse come April 2019, however, it doesn't impact my legal rights and I don't have to go through with it, so in the meantime, I've written to my MP and will follow up, have joined LCAG, and was just reading this: Fact or Fiction - Are HMRC making it up as they go along? - Contractor Weekly - surely there is another "partnership" here to explore i.e. there must be a lot of NHS related people impacted here who may not be aware of forums such as this? It seems that the more of us who join together to try and stop this from happening, the better...

              Your position sounds identical to mine...and I agree - why isn't everyone now ex AML pulling together for a legal case? how could we do this..? I've only heard through a QC that there is a group going to the European Court of Human Rights - but I don't know anything more than that, and that is not a direct case against AML/Knox, that's in relation to the legislation itself which may/may not be successful.

              6 odd weeks down the line since getting the notification I'm impacted and I'm still completely dumbfounded and in disbelief that this can and might happen.

                  I think the plan of action from my perspective would be to wait for the outcome of the WTT resolution process. If unsuccessful, I think that would be the right time to instigate this. But I believe we are at least 6 months+ away from the next steps (depending on the outcome). I would then look at litigation and take it from there, even if I fight this on my own!

                      31st deadline extended a further 5 months. Have HMRC seriously underestimated the sh*tstorm they have unleashed?

                      This is interesting
