Brexit the movie is a must watch - please forward to everyone

If you are voting on Thursday and have not seen this then I would urge you to watch Brexit the movie. It is very easy to find on YouTube.

The most striking piece of information for me is that Switzerland is the most prosperous nation in Europe per head - this is a statistical fact. They are not members of the EU and have a fantastic democratic system which empowers people over politicians and big business.. They have no problem trading with Europe and the rest of the world.

Please watch Brexit the movie before you make up your mind. It was a real eye opener for me.

If you watch and agree please forward to your friends.

This is our chance to sack George Osbourne et all.

Hmm - so vote leave and we become as prosperous as Switzerland and we can also stay neutral if a fracturing Europe descends into another war. Do people really believe all this bulls**t propaganda from both sides? By all means let's make our minds up based on principle like sovereign democracy or pooled interest but let's not pretend that a vote one way will mean utopia and the other descent into hell.

You are aware that 25% of people in Switzerland are immigrants?

There are 2 problems with Remain Camp.

          Cameron & Osborne.

I don't have a great problem with immigration.
Democracy however is import to me and the Swiss have a great model with a thriving economy.

Apart from the Euro... It's actually regulation that weakens economies. Switzerland is a great case in point. The other great example would be west Germany after world war 2. Their manufacturing boomed when they slashed regulation. At the same time we over were over regulated, and our manufacturing declined.

The comparisons with Germany and Switzerland are a tad delusional as they completely ignore crucial differences between the Germanic and Anglo-saxon mentalities.

Anyway, there is one thing I agree with 1000%, and that's

                Well I'm voting Brexit.
It's a good opportunity to show my disgust over the way the Government have handled this.

Not only that, but Switzerland takes in far more refugees, in proportion, than the UK.

With Brexit, you won't get Swiss democracy. Swiss democracy is founded on the principle that sovereignty lies with the people of the village. Power is devolved upwards to Cantonal level, who in turn have given over some of their powers to the federal government. Practically, most of the power is at Cantonal levels, but crucially, those powers (theoretically at least) can be taken back by the villages. Big business has huge power at Cantonal levels (all that lovely tax money), and certainly less accountability and transparency that they have in the UK.

The bilateral agreements with the EU began because by a very narrow margin, the Swiss declined to join the EU. The federal government went for bilateral agreements because they still wanted the benefit of being in the EU - even though they'd have little say, and still have to pay a huge amount to the EU each year.

A vote for Brexit in my view should not be based on trying to get at Cameron/Osborne. These are not piddling little council elections where you get to stick one in the eye of the incumbents. This could significantly change the future of Britain. And as BP said - regardless of the outcome, HMRC will remain in power. Perhaps after a Brexit, they'll be able to consolidate that even more - now they don't have to worry about EU legislation getting in their way...

The logic being applied seems to be
                  1) We need change
                  2) Brexit will bring change
                  3) Vote Brexit

                  3) is not a logical consequence of 1) and 2). The change might be for the worse. If you're going to vote Brexit (or Remain) for that matter, it seems to me that you should base your decision on other criteria. Not one or two issues.

Difficult for people to make an informed decision when both sides have spouted a load of BS and untruths.

I suspect the outcome today will be a bit closer than the 67%/33% back in 1975.

Or try this in contrast, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iAgKHSNqxa8, which, incidentally, shows that the pillow regulation argument is twaddle.
