I've had a similar letter from HMRC re 2011/12 followed by another for 2013/14 & then a very aggressive email from them demanding copies of contract between LLP, agency, billing company etc

Looking for some good advice as to how to proceed.

They're talking about treating the whole daily rate as taxable, with no deduction for LLP fees.

I'm guessing they won't even let you, retrospectively, put money into a pension for those tax years.

Take some independent advice on how to reply to HMRCs letter. A lot of the stuff they are asking for is outside the bounds of what they should be asking for.
