It is against our policy to delete threads after they have replies, so do not ask us to delete threads once they have attracted attention. Any request to delete posts/threads is a bannable offence.

Bannable means "you can be banned". It doesn't mean you will be.

Don't need to delete any of his works of art, I can just update post count in the control panel

When that happened to me, and my post count was returned, I was missing a few hundred. I suppose I should be grateful to be back - but I did significant grovelling....
