There are only three things i've ever conflated with violence - force, threats of force, and fraud.

        What about fraud through lying?

Lying isn't always fraud. Fraud is a classification of lie/s.

But if lying is not violence and fraud is violence and some fraud involves lies (we can ignore whether or not all fraud involves lies), then there must be a component of the fraud that is not a lie but that is violent. Presumably it is the theft part (theft by deceit)?

              Fruit isn't apples.

But it's the thefty part that makes it aggression. Lying is simply telling an untruth - but clearly, contriving a lie to gain at the other person's expense is something more than a simple untruth.

The end result of 'theft' by fraud is the same as theft by physical force, so fraud is bad for the same reason that burglary is.

But if no apples are blue, all fruit cannot be blue.

Just like not all lies constitute aggression/force/whatever word is most appropriate.

Silly me. I should have said:

If no fruit is blue, then apples cannot be blue.

Remember: Not all excuses are owls.

But in fact, we have established that fraud does not consist simply of lies, so:

If no fruit is blue, apple pie may be blue.
