    eBay Hacked

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-27503290

    More details to follow....

eBay has asked users to change their passwords following a cyberattack that compromised one of its databases.

The US firm said the database was hacked between late February and early March, and had contained encrypted passwords and other non-financial data.

Not knowing if this hit Paypal as well, I've changed passwords there too

        You can't be too paranoid
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

Same here. If they are "making" people change their passwords, they haven't yet. The Register also says EBay have already reset everyone's password.

The data was stolen March/April apparently, and I've only recently changed mine so maybe I'm okay.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

I last changed mine last July.

No password reset so far from eBay, and no warning or anything like that when I logged in to change it today.

Well, err Paypal was fine for customers, but not for merchants

There seems to be no end to this stuff.
