First interview today! Seemed to go okay, had a 2 hour talk with some of their techies and then wrote an application before speaking to one of their alpha geeks. Spoke to agent and asked for an extra 5k now I know where the bloody place is, it's miles away! About a 40 minute drive without traffic, so more like 50 minutes. They do flexible hours though so that might help but I may as well ask for more money and let the agent sort it out.
Do agencies play the same tricks with salaries as they do with day rates? I did not think so but can anyone confirm?
Phone interview arranged with a bank in London and got an email about another bank that have an opening I am qualified for (luckily I already know a guy on the team too!). A colleague from a previous company mentioned they might have me back and a friend reckons his manager is interested in my cv.
