I still don't get this one with the (usually male) yoot of today. Tats, piercings, not my bag, but yeah whatever.

But wanting to expand your ear lobe so large when you take the wagon wheel sized "washer/small alloy wheel" out of your lobe you are forever adorned with a dangly piece of er...ear lobe.

No better or worse than a large indelible tattoo really. I think using your body as a canvas is either something you get or something you don't. Certainly not for me and I admit I find such things a bit weird.

I'm not entirely convinced everyone is born in the way you and I think. I think some people were rolled out of a production line as ready made 50 year olds.

That would apply more to the kids who tend to try grow these beards, based on the "retro" fashion sense that tends to accompany it. They usually look awful. Well groomed stubble or a 5 o' clock shadow suits many men; beards don't. There's always people who can pull them off, but usually not the kids using them to conceal a baby face.
