Actually I shopped for the best food when I was up norf.

I remember going on Tuesdays to the indoor market in Preston to buy some genuine Italian food. I doubt those stalls are still there.

It was just me, some OAPs and mostly foreigners shopping at the market. The local chavs were busy with junk food pushers nearby.
