Inrellectual stimulation / boredom

What happens when you run out of doing interesting things, and the workload becomes a drudge?

I am minded to return to recruiting, but have become used to the stimulating work (which is now wearing thin).

Equally, I wouldn't miss the trawl of endless phone-calls to make, both calling disinterested managers, and equally obnoxious contractors who think a unintentially mistimed call is somehow reason to be rude.

That aside, I love being a contractor.
But I am quite bored.

I have done all the usual things like proto-BA work and looking for efficiencies to make.
How do you make things interesting when the initial challenge has waned?

Think of things to spend the money on and make spreadheets comparing all the details until you pick the perfect one.

I have e.g. a synths spreadsheet, a cameras and lenses spreadhseet, a computer components spreadsheet, a telescopes spreadsheet and so on. Dozens of them.
