There are no such thing as British genes which is why people are picking holes in your arguments."You’re just a bad memory who doesn’t know when to go away" JR -
Naturalisation is becoming a citizen.Originally posted by SaltyLevels View PostNo, they weren't. They were not British and rightly proud to be Jewish Poles. They were never granted citizenship, they were granted naturalisation. They were never citizens.
I am stopping now, for you're just going around in circles.
My argument, from the get go, is that he's British by location, not genes and that as a view, is correct, factually. You can continue obfuscating with the strawman, but I am out of this one.

From wikipedia:
Naturalisation was the act of giving foreign citizens the right of residency in a country.
There is a notion of being English SueEllen.
if you think they were english, especially given his views when he got here, well, that's cool, that's up to you. It's ok to disagree.
But they weren't english, they were naturalised, and there is a whole world of difference, which we both know.Last edited by SaltyLevels; 25 April 2014, 10:24.Comment

Seriously, mate. Why are you insisting that Raph Miliabnd was not a British citizen? It's a factual error and very silly of you.Originally posted by SaltyLevels View PostWikipedia. Hmm. Now go back and look at post 1950...

He wasn't, and never was. He was a naturalised subject of the crown, as it was back then. Might be different now, but back then, you only got naturalised. Simple as that really. I wouldn't get into the name calling just yet. We disagree, and that's fine. I am happy to hold my position, you hold yours. Honestly, that's cool. But check about what happened in the post war years regarding the naturalisation of foreign citizens before the name calling hey.Originally posted by speling bee View PostSeriously, mate.
