            Chaps, did none of you notice this?

            The female driver and three passengers escaped unscathed after the 4x4 crashed through railings on a residential street, across the pavement, and then plunged down a 14 foot drop to become wedged between a wall and basement.

              Bloody idiots; haven't the US security people heard of the concept of 'horses for courses'? As in, European cars tend to be smaller and more manoeuvrable because the streets are narrower and bumpier than in Washington?
