I guess the difference is between one person looking down on others and them not knowing about it versus one person getting abuse from a load of others every time they post on a forum. Still, as long as everyone else feels good about themselves I guess that's fine.
After all, when someone makes a post about "My kid gets picked on at school because they're a bit different" everyone rushes in with "Good, they deserve it", so it's fair enough.

Why else do you think he repeatedly posts about claiming JSA when he knows the response he'll get?

To be fair in my original post I did try and say I wasn't going to get into the rights and wrongs of claiming it in the first place. It was an attempt to discuss the differences with the increased salary recommendations.

As for the claiming thing. If you don't want to for whatever reason you choose then its up to you - no skin off my nuts.

If you want to claim, its all perfectly legal and above-board.

On a more serious note: if you have money in the business (beyond CT obligations etc.) and make yourself redundant, do the Job Centre not say that you've deliberately made yourself unemployed, or do you tell them that the Ltd and you are different legal entities so in fact it's the Ltd that has made you unemployed?
