No one knows why yet, I doubt UK contractors have more information than others. At the moment all explanations are equally uninformed.

I said nobody with money is going to take it as a resource for a future attack. I think the most likely story is that one or more of the crew took it as they knew how to take it and switch all this stuff off. More remote but still possible is that it was a hijack by passengers.

I look upon the other suggestions involving nukes and Iranians as crazy talk.
