      That's the Entertainment Muay Thai designed to take money off the Farangs. Go to Lumpini in Bangkok and pay to sit in the cheap seats with the locals to get a taste of real Muay Thai.

      Pattaya sucks. Head back to Bangkok, Soi 11 (I've always liked the Dolls House, its where I hired a waitress as a translator for a couple of weeks when I used to buy & learned to speak Thai). Soi Cowboy is good for a laugh, the other red light district is pretty crap but worth a visit. If you can get in with a local(see comment above) there is a whole world behind the Farang bars & I've had some great fun hanging out with locals in far away bars / houses.
