That's the Entertainment Muay Thai designed to take money off the Farangs. Go to Lumpini in Bangkok and pay to sit in the cheap seats with the locals to get a taste of real Muay Thai.Originally posted by KentPhilip View PostYes I saw some Thai boxers on Walking St last night. Indeed one would not want to mess with them!
The only thai food I have eaten so far is Pad Thai - which is very boring of me because it is what I eat in the UK, and I should be more adventurous.
Pattaya sucks. Head back to Bangkok, Soi 11 (I've always liked the Dolls House, its where I hired a waitress as a translator for a couple of weeks when I used to buy & learned to speak Thai). Soi Cowboy is good for a laugh, the other red light district is pretty crap but worth a visit. If you can get in with a local(see comment above) there is a whole world behind the Farang bars & I've had some great fun hanging out with locals in far away bars / houses. What happens in General, stays in General. You know what they say about assumptions!Comment
