Yes I saw some Thai boxers on Walking St last night. Indeed one would not want to mess with them!

The only thai food I have eaten so far is Pad Thai - which is very boring of me because it is what I eat in the UK, and I should be more adventurous.

That's the Entertainment Muay Thai designed to take money off the Farangs. Go to Lumpini in Bangkok and pay to sit in the cheap seats with the locals to get a taste of real Muay Thai.

Pattaya sucks. Head back to Bangkok, Soi 11 (I've always liked the Dolls House, its where I hired a waitress as a translator for a couple of weeks when I used to buy & learned to speak Thai). Soi Cowboy is good for a laugh, the other red light district is pretty crap but worth a visit. If you can get in with a local(see comment above) there is a whole world behind the Farang bars & I've had some great fun hanging out with locals in far away bars / houses.
