How are you being persecuted exactly? Have you been rounded up and forced to renounce haggis and whiskey?

Would you not agree deconstruction of someones identity of which they have no control is a form of persecution?

According to the post made here today, thousands of expats from Scotland shall become stateless if Scotland selects independence. And this fraternity thinks I should be putting up the bunting in celebration.

Well, you see, as a Scot living in England, I'm trying to remember the last time me or any of my countrymen were rounded up and murdered in concentration camps. Funnily enough, it hasn't happened.

Though to be fair, it probably should.

Not following (sorry). If Scotland rises as a new independent country and people who were British ex-pats decide they want to be Scottish ex-pats(!) then why is it the UK's problem what happens to them?

For support and advice about becoming ('legally') Scottish then you should be speaking to the Scottish government, surely?

So you're being persecuted by the SNP then aren't you.

Get a dictionary and look up 'persecution' you might be surprised.
