Oh come on, no one is blind to the idea a lot will change with independence. It's ridiculous to suggest otherwise. Politicians come and go and very few to none can be trusted. How is it the Tory's criticise the Europe's union "it should be broken up!" they scream whilst the Great Britain's union should remain intact. All this despite the same massive inequalities between the north & the south.

Equality between rich and poor in the UK is shocking, much as it is with EU countries (which they're trying to do something about). But here in the UK the poor are driven further into the ground.

I don't buy that other states would block Scotland joining the EU.

Spain = Catalonia and the Basque region
France = as above + Corsica
Belgium = Flemish independentism
Italy= Lega Nord, Sardinia, South Tyrol
Germany = Bavaria

Nobody has an interest in supporting the Scottish cause in Europe, plus Scotland is not strategically important to Berlin.
