    Oh come on, no one is blind to the idea a lot will change with independence. It's ridiculous to suggest otherwise. Politicians come and go and very few to none can be trusted. This is an opportunity for residents in Scotland to decide, do with stick with the known corrupt elitist establishment or do we choose something unknown.

    Unknown has been looking very attractive since years ago.

      but if the vote yes they could be out of the EU in seven months time
      Yeh! So let the Scots keep the UK, and have an independent England. Much better idea.

        It's funny to see lying politician scum like Dave argueing against independence of Scotland, yet he does not want to give up any of the UKs independence when it comes to membership in EU.

          On the upside, Scottish fishermen wouldn't have to worry about Spanish, French (or rUK) fishermen operating in Scottish seas.

          Makes you think. If it did happen. Would there be an immigration problem to Scotland from those anti-EU types living down south?

            The same thought comes into my head too often.

            How is it the Tory's criticise the Europe's union "it should be broken up!" they scream whilst the Great Britain's union should remain intact. All this despite the same massive inequalities between the north & the south.

            Equality between rich and poor in the UK is shocking, much as it is with EU countries (which they're trying to do something about). But here in the UK the poor are driven further into the ground.

              Really? How would they stop them?
              While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

                I don't buy that other states would block Scotland joining the EU.
                Spain = Catalonia and the Basque region
                France = as above + Corsica
                Belgium = Flemish independentism
                Italy= Lega Nord, Sardinia, South Tyrol
                Germany = Bavaria

                Nobody has an interest in supporting the Scottish cause in Europe, plus Scotland is not strategically important to Berlin.
                <Insert idea here> will never be adopted because the politicians are in the pockets of the banks!

                  Yep, that's for sure.

                  However there might not be other chance to vote for independence - perhaps never, go bravely into the uknown ...
