You only have to drill once.

Have been working on a HTHP project recently located at the Rochelle shelf about 70 miles from Aberdeen. Make no mistake they've emptied a truck load of money fitting the necessary subsea installations to control the wells. But my goodness what a prize that waits, 40+ years of production.

How do they determine how many year's worth of production is there? Just curious as how they come to such figures

Probably the same way Salmond got a legal opinion on the right to join the EU, he asked Walter Mitty
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.

No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

President Barroso says it will be difficult maybe impossible for Scotland to join the EU.

            You have to laugh.

Crappy east European country? Roll out the red carpet, come right in!

Scotland? Sorry your name's not on the list.

Can't frickin give the place away.

Although I'm for the yes campaign I am worried about the lack of contingencies the currency issue. To bet everything on the government changing there mind, because it was a bluff, is a bit risky. The alternatives seem riddled with risk also though, but then the whole thing is a risk. Unless something changes before September I think the Yes camping is terminally wounded.

Seismic surveys and supercomputers. They make measurements using sound waves and from that they work out the geology of the area including the size and composition of oil bearing strata.

Eh? WTF are you on about? You're the ones having a referendum to decide whether or not you leave, we don't even get a say.
